The Chatbot/Custom Answers
tab is where you can take advantage of one of the most useful features of your chatbot—the ability to define custom responses to user questions.
What Is It?
This feature allows you to create personalized responses to specific questions that may arise in conversations with your users. Whenever a user sends a message, our system analyzes its content for similarity to the questions you've defined in this tab. For example, if you add a response to the question I can't log in, the chatbot will be able to recognize a similar question, such as I've been having trouble logging in since yesterday, and automatically provide the prepared response.
How Does It Work?
When the chatbot recognizes a question as similar to one of those defined in the Custom Answers
tab, the response will be provided immediately. Importantly, such a response is not counted as a generated message, which means it doesn't reduce the number of message credits available in your account. This feature allows for efficient resource management and enables instant responses to frequently asked questions without additional costs.
Benefits of Using Custom Answers
Adding custom questions and answers not only improves user support but also contributes to better training of your chatbot. Each defined response helps the chatbot better understand the context of the conversation and adjust its tone to fit the specifics of your company or brand. The more questions and answers you add, the more personalized and accurate your chatbot's responses will become.
Monitoring Usage
In the Times Sent
column, you can monitor how often a particular response has been used in conversations with users. This is a useful analytical tool that helps you understand which questions are most frequently asked and how effectively the chatbot is responding to them.
Additionally, in the Inbox
tab, messages that have used a built-in response will be marked with a book icon, making it easier to identify such interactions.
